My portraits are all done from photos so it is very important
to have a GOOD picture to work with. If at all possible I like to take my own pictures and this is included in the price
of the portrait. I ask for 50% of the price of the portrait at the time of commission and the remainder upon completion
to your satisfaction. A typical project takes about two weeks to complete and another to ship but sometimes exceptions
can be made.
The following prices include framing but DO NOT include shipping. All portraits are
framed with a 1.5 inch white matte and a 2 inch black wooden frame. It's a clean and neat presentation but
not fancy. Choosing just the right matte color and frame is really a personal choice and should be made by the owner
of the portrait so if you want to change your framing when you get the portrait, it can easily be disassembled and reframed
to your liking. I choose the black frame with a white matte for all my work because it's neat and really showcases
the art, but that's my personal choice.
I don't like to quote blanket prices for shipping, you're
paying good money for the artwork, not for me to make a little profit on my shipping. Once the portrait is ready for
shipping I can obtain the actual cost and then factor it into final payment, a typical portrait will be between
$15 and $20 to ship.
